Crobot share official video for anthemic Chris Cornell tribute, 'Golden'

New track is a 'soaring homage to a God-gone-too-soon,' says singer Brandon Yeagley

We’re big fans of Pennsylvania hard rockers Crobot and their new album Feel This, which our very own Paul Gargano recently called “an intoxicating blend of psychedelic riffs, rock swagger and groove to spare."

Now, the band has unveiled the newest single from Feel This, for the track “Golden,” along with an accompanying music video. The song follows up the Top 25 hit, “Set You Free,” from the same record.

Said Crobot singer Brandon Yeagley, “ ‘Golden’ is a soaring homage to a God-gone-too-soon. When it came to the lyrics, we collectively wanted it to be a tribute to Chris Cornell. We are so influenced by everything he and Soundgarden have done. We ran with the song in honor of his legacy."

And if you want to catch the band onstage, they’re currently on an extensive North American tour with GWAR. Said Yeagley, "We tour the pockets off of our pants and sleep in our van for half of the year. To some, that may seem like misery, but to us – it's heaven, baby!"
