Exclusive video: Watch Sebastian Bach and Stryper's Michael Sweet perform 'God Gave Rock 'n' Roll to You' and 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love'

The hatchet-burying set also featured a lead guitar cameo from L.A. Guns' Tracii Guns

Earlier today we reported on the end of the years-long feud between Sebastian Bach and Stryper’s Michael Sweet, which took place on this year’s Kiss Kruise. Brokered by Metal Edge’s Paul Gargano, the two singers not only buried the hatchet in private, but also took their new found love fest to the stage, with Sweet joining Bach during his solo set to perform Kiss’ version of “God Gave Rock ‘N’ Roll to You” and Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.”

And if Gargano hadn’t already done enough for us hard rock fans over the past 24 hours, he also made sure to grab exclusive video of the performance, which you can check out above.

Regarding the, let’s say… spotty rendition of “God Gave Rock ‘N’ Roll to You,” both Bach and Sweet had an explanation for that.

“Originally Sebastian wanted to do 'God Gave Rock 'N' Roll to You' because he felt like with us coming together it was a perfect song," Sweet told us. "But then I think everyone started talking and realizing like maybe not everyone knew that song as well as they should have. [laughs] So we moved on and decided to do 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love' and possibly [Queen's] 'Tie Your Mother Down.'

"Then when I went up onstage, they went into 'God Gave Rock 'N' Roll to You.' And I didn't spend time on the song, learning it. So it was a panic moment. So I pulled the phone out of my pants. And then I look over and there's Paul [Stanley] over there like, 'What is going on?' "

“Our version of the song was not the best version,” Bach acknowledged to Gargano. “We didn't even know it at all. [Guitarist] Todd Kerns knew it the best.”

But, he added, “it wasn't about that. It was about the words. ‘God gave rock ‘n’ roll to you. Put it in the soul of everyone.’ ”

That said, the pair followed up "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll to You" with a truly ripping performance of “Ain’t Talkin' ‘Bout Love,” which also featured L.A. Guns’ Tracii Guns on lead guitar.

"I've been praying for this day a long time. It is a blessing to finally see it here," Sweet said onstage following the mini-set.

Added Bach, "Life is short... but I'm tall."
