Former White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult shares video of 'secret' Pantera rehearsal

'They are truly showing respect to Darrell and anyone who is a fan,' Yseult says

Over the past few weeks we’ve all been treated to plenty of video of Pantera’s triumphant return to the stage, with Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante to pay tribute to the band and its legacy.

But only a select few, apparently, were privy to the super-secret rehearsals leading up to these shows. Among the lucky fans was former White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult, who has now shared some footage she shot at a New Orleans practice earlier this year.

"Pantera secret rehearsal!" Yseult wrote in an Instagram post that included a photo and video clip. "I promised Phil I wouldn't share this until they started touring – so amazing."

Continued Yseult, whose former band shared stages with Pantera in the ‘90s, in particular during their tour for Vulgar Display of Power, “Great to see Phil and Rex, and I could not imagine two better musicians to fill in for Dime and Vinnie than Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. Swipe to see Zakk nailing Darrell’s solo in ‘Respect’ [a k a “Walk”] – I’ve heard Darrell play that hundreds of times, and it made me smile to hear it played so flawlessly. They are truly showing respect to Darrell and anyone who is a fan. And the stage show and pyro are out of control!!!”
