Kix drummer Jimmy Chalfant suffers suspected heart attack onstage in Virginia

Chalfant was reportedly unconscious when he was carried offstage mid-set

Kix drummer Jimmy Chalfant was unconscious and carried offstage after suffering a suspected heart attack during the band’s show at the Tally Ho Theater in Leesburg, Virginia last night (November 19).

The news was first reported by Metal Sludge, with one fan telling the website, He (Jimmy Chalfant) was carried off and we’re waiting on word from paramedics.”

Another source added, “It happened right after his drum solo, and the band was about to start “Cold Blood.””

Several fans who attended the show also reported about the incident on Facebook.

Chalfant suffered a major heart in September, 2021. He underwent immediate surgery to insert two stents in his heart. The next day, he underwent a second surgery to insert an additional stent.
