New Wave of American Heavy Metal pioneers Lamb of God have announced details for their ninth album, Omens, due October 7. The new effort, the follow-up to their 2020 self-titled offering is “a very pissed-off record," front man Randy Blythe says.

Exactly how pissed-off? We’ll find out on June 10, when the band releases the first single, a track titled "Nevermore."

Lamb of God - Omens

Additionally, Lamb of God have announced a North American Omens tour, with direct support coming from fellow NWOAHM legends Killswitch Engage. Various shows will also include Baroness, Motionless in White, Spiritbox, Animals as Leaders, Suicide Silence and Fit for an Autopsy.

LOG guitarist Mark Morton said in a statement that the tour "celebrates not only the perseverance and impact of that original [NWOAHM] movement, but also the creativity and originality of the bands that it influenced. Heavy metal is alive and well. The Omens Tour proudly showcases the depth and diversity of our scene."

The tour launches September 9 in Brooklyn and wraps October 20 in Irving, Texas. Tickets are on sale June 10 at 10 A.M. local time via lamb-of-god.com.

You can pre-order Omens now in various collectible formats, including exclusive Revolver vinyl and CD editions limited to 1,000 and 666 copies, now in our shop.
