It was a big weekend for the band Lit. On Friday, June 17, they released their seventh studio album, the stellar new Tastes Like Gold, and hosted a record release party at their "hometown" House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. They followed that up Saturday with a performance at Adam Carolla's annual summer BBQ. So what better way to cap it all off than with an appearance on Metal Edge's Another F'n Podcast?
Guitarist Jeremy Popoff can probably think of a few better ways, but he humored us and made his second appearance on the podcast, his first being back in February 2021 when he joined Anthrax guitarist Jonathan Donais and Faster Pussycat drummer Chad Stewart for our track-by-track album showdown between Bon Jovi's New Jersey and Def Leppard's Hysteria. This time, the talk was all Lit - from the inner workings of Tastes Like Gold and the full story behind the song "Kicked Off the Plane," to the band's rock roots "behind the Orange curtain" in Orange County, CA, to working with Pam Anderson and Dee Snider on music videos, and so much more.
