Oslo-based sleaze rockers The Cruel Intentions share new single, 'Reapercussion'

The band, led by former Vains of Jenna singer Lizzy DeVine, are set to release their second full-length, 'Venomous Anonymous'

If any of you remember early-2000s sleaze-rockers Vains of Jenna, then you also no doubt remember magnetic lead singer Lizzy DeVine. Now, DeVine is back with his new band, The Cruel Intentions, who have just released the video for their newest single, “Reapercussion,” from their forthcoming album, Venomous Anonymous.

The new record follows a series of well-received singles, as well as the 2018 full-length debut, No Sign of Relief. The Cruel Intentions also recently had three songs featured in the HBO series Peacemaker.

The band calls their newest track “a modern hard rocker deeply rooted in classic metal and rock ‘n’ roll.” They go on to say, “every action has a reaction. ‘Reapercussion’ is about facing your demons and doing what you believe in.”
