Pantera's first show in more than 20 years: see setlist and photos
Pantera just wrapped the first show of their much-anticipated tribute tour, and from the looks of things, it was one for the ages.
The band – Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown, along with Zakk Wylde and Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante – took the stage at Mexico's Hell & Heaven Metal Fest on December 2 and delivered a blistering set that blasted through all the classics, from “A New Level” and “Mouth for War” to “This Love,” “Walk” and, of course, “Cowboys from Hell.”
Throughout the evening, Anselmo paid tribute to Pantera's founding brothers, Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, who passed in 2004 and 2018, respectively.
