Scorpions share new song, 'Hammersmith,' that 'rocks like hell'

'The song takes us back to a time when we played in the smallest clubs,' says singer Klaus Meine

Scorpions released their 19th studio album, Rock Believer, earlier this year, and now the German metal legends have shared a new song, “Hammersmith,” which originally appeared as a bonus track on the UK edition of the album.

You can check out the lyric video above.

The new song pays tribute to the famed London venue of the same name, where artists including the Who, Queen, AC/DC, Motörhead, Metallica have performed. Said Scorpions singer Klaus Meine, “The song takes us back to a time when we played in the smallest clubs, just dreaming about being able to perform in the Temple of Rock, the Hammersmith Odeon."

Additionally, he said, it “rocks like hell!”
