Shiprocked 2022, headlined by Lamb of God and Corey Taylor, wrapped up this past week after five days at sea. The cruise set sail from Galveston, Texas and made stops in Costa Maya and Cozumel, along the way hosting dozens of hard rock and metal artists, among them Drowning Pool, Nonpoint, 10 Years, Butcher Babies, Nita Strauss, Escape the Fate, P.O.D. and more.
One of the unequivocal highlights of the cruise came during Steel Panther’s set, when Taylor and his Stone Sour and solo band guitarist Christian Martucci joined the L.A. glamsters to belt out Dio's '80s metal classic, "Rainbow in the Dark." Fortunately, Metal Edge’s very own Paul Gargano braved the high seas and was there to capture the moment for prosperity.
