After two years of Covid postponements, Mötley Crüe finally took the stage at the Stadium Tour kickoff at Atlanta’s Truist Stadium tonight, June 16. 

But one Crüe-ster, drummer Tommy Lee, made an early exit. Following the first five songs – “Wild Side,” “Shout at the Devil,” “Too Fast for Love,” “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) and “Saints of Los Angeles” – Lee was replaced behind the kit after experiencing lingering pain from an injury roughly two weeks ago where he broke four ribs.

Lee addressed the crowd before leaving the stage, explaining his rib injury prevented him from continuing with the set. His spot was filled by Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath drummer Tommy Clufetos.
