Bret Michaels may have just wrapped up a summer playing to sold-out stadiums, but he still found the time to pop in for a surprise appearance at the considerably cozier Sinistral Brewing Company in Manassas, Virginia on October 22 for an acoustic set highlighted by the Poison classics “Every Rose Has its Thorn” and “Nothin’ But a Good Time.”
Michaels was there as a special guest of Bret Michaels Band guitarist and Manassas native Pete Evick, who was performing a solo show at the venue. In addition to playing guitar and producing for Michaels, Evick, who is also a major Van Hagar fan, owns and operates the Manassas-based Shining Sol Candle Company.
"Last night was special," Evick said in a social media post. "And last night was special because of Manassas. My home town. Thanks to you for showing my best buddy how great we all are."
