Watch BulletBoys singer Marq Torien join Steel Panther for ‘Smooth Up in Ya’ at Rainbow 50th anniversary bash

It's a match made in hair-metal heaven

The Rainbow Bar & Grill threw itself a 50th anniversary bash in West Hollywood, California on April 24, with a massive show headlined by Steel Panther and also featuring Stephen Pearcy, Pretty Boy Floyd and plenty of others.

During their set, the Panthers were joined by another Strip veteran, BulletBoys singer Marq Torien, to perform his band’s 1989 hit, “Smooth Up In Ya.”

“We’re gonna do a song that I used to do in a cover band back in the day, and I want to thank this guy for helping me through my career [and] always being there for me,” Steel Panther front man Michael Starr said by way of introduction, bringing on Torien.
