Watch former Queensrÿche singer Geoff Tate perform 'Rage for Order' and 'Empire' classics in Europe

The singer is back onstage after recent open-heart surgery

Former Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate recently underwent open-heart surgery. But if these new videos are any indication, the veteran vocalist is back in fine form following the health scare.

Tate has been touring Europe with a setlist comprised of full-album performances of Queensrÿche's 1986 album, Rage for Order, and 1990's Empire.

You can watch Rage for Order's "I Dream in Infrared," in Bochum, Germany, on October 1, above, and "Empire," performed at Metropool Jupiler Stage in the  Netherlands on September 30, below.

Tate underwent open-heart surgery in Germany earlier this year, posting a photo on Facebook posing with cardiovascular doctor Sami Kueri at the Universitäts-Herzzentrum Freiburg-Bad Krozingen and writing:

"All my gratitude to the talented Dr. Sami Kueri for giving me a healthy heart!! Feeling so much better each day!"

The singer will kick off a U.S. tour on December 1 in Cleveland, Ohio. You can check out dates here.
