Watch Nita Strauss play first full show with Demi Lovato

The former Alice Cooper guitarist 'had a blast'

Last month, Nita Strauss abruptly announced her exit from Alice Cooper’s band after eight years, and soon revealed that she was joining up with Demi Lovato as the pop star’s new lead guitarist. On July 14, Strauss appeared onstage with Lovato for a performance of the song “Substance” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and now she has played her first full concert with Lovato, at the Grandstand at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, Illinois.

You can check out fan-filmed footage of Lovato’s songs “Cool for the Summer” above, and “Skin of My Teeth” below.

Post-show, Strauss took to Twitter to post a clip of the song “Sorry (Not Sorry),” with the caption: "Had a blast on opening night with @ddlovato!"
