Watch Poison announce show cancellation at Stadium Tour stop in Nashville

Singer Bret Michaels was hospitalized following an 'unforeseen medical complication'

Poison had to pull out of their slot on the Stadium Tour stop at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium last night, June 30, after front man Bret Michaels suffered “an unforeseen medical complication” that resulted in his hospitalization.

Later that evening, Michaels released a statement on his social media that read, "To the incredible fans in Nashville, thank you for all your well wishes!! I was truly fired up to get on stage in the Music City and perform, but due to an unforeseen medical complication & following hospitalization, it was not possible.

“I send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!!! I'm working on being back 100% very soon & hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley/Leppard/ Joan and Classless Act!!!"

At Nissan Stadium, Michaels’ three Poison band mates, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall and Rikki Rockett, took the stage to explain the situation to the fans. You can check out that video below.

The next stop on the Stadium Tour is June 2 in Jacksonville, Florida. No announcement has been made yet as to whether Poison will be back onstage for the date.
