Watch the official video for new Ugly Kid Joe song, 'Long Road'

Band's first album in seven years, 'Rad Wings of Destiny,' is out in October

Ugly Kid Joe’s new album, Rad Wings of Destiny, is out October 21, and in advance of its release the band has shared the official video for the record's closing cut, “Long Road.”

The breezy, acoustic-guitar-tinged track is the third single to be released from Rad Wings, following “That Ain’t Livin’ ” and “Kill the Pain.” According to guitarist Dave Fortman, “Long Road” is “a giant metaphor about procrastinating. The lyrics say it all. ‘Waiting for the sky to fall’ is sitting around doing nothing to make life better and ‘the sound of the whistle blow’ is the moment you get up and make a change.”

Rad Wings of Destiny is Ugly Kid Joe’s first studio album since 2015’s Uglier Than They Used Ta Be and fifth full-length overall.
