Watch Wolfgang Van Halen rip through 'Panama' with Dave Grohl at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert

Not surprisingly, Wolfie nailed it

Earlier this month we witnessed Wolfgang Van Halen seriously shred two Van Halen songs, "On Fire" and "Hot for Teacher," at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Now, Wolfie has paid tribute to his father once again at the second Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert, this one at Los Angeles' Kia Forum on September 27.

Joined once again by Dave Grohl on bass, drummer Josh Freese and the Darkness singer Justin Hawkins, he blasted through another take on "Hot for Teacher," and also added in a scorching version of the 1984 classic, "Panama." Not surprisingly, Wolfgang nailed his father's riffs and solos perfectly.

You can check out fan-filmed footage of "Panama" above.
